Patti Ramage has practised law for over 31 years, including 23 years as head of Manitoba Hydro`s Legal Services Division, where she retired in 2020 as Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. His legal work focused on administrative law. She is familiar with board and tribunal principles and corporate governance and compliance issues. Patti has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams tackling complex issues that require balancing the interests of different stakeholders. Dan worked for Shared Health Inc., where he held the position of Provincial Legal Services Lead. In addition to acting as General Counsel for Shared Health, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and related health facilities, he was responsible for the management of legal services, privacy and access to information, internal audit, and insurance and risk. Dan also served as Executive Secretary of the Board of Directors of Shared Health, where he helped make the organization the province`s new health authority, including the legal changes needed to transform the health care system. Prior to entering the health care industry, Dan was a partner in one of Manitoba`s leading private law firms, bringing many years of private and public legal expertise across a variety of disciplines. Dan was first called to the South Dakota Bar in 1996 and to Manitoba in 1999. He was Co-Chair of the National Health Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and past President of the Canadian Transportation Lawyers Association. Patricia is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba. Our Board of Directors reports to the Minister of Health, Seniors and Active Living. Each board member brings extensive experience in the healthcare field and takes charge of managing the organization. Vanessa is Ojibway and a member of Berens River First Nation in Manitoba. Vanessa co-chaired the National Working Group on Enhancing Federal Program Development for the Aboriginal Employment Skills Training Strategy (ESETS). She is currently Vice-President of the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce. She has worked on the development of the Manitoba Indigenous Tourism Association (MITA) and the National Métis Veterans Association (NMVA). This development of the association includes governance, business and operations planning, membership recruitment, revenue generation plan and the first annual virtual summit. Brenda currently serves on the Board of Directors of Alberta Pension Services Corp., where she is Vice-Chair and Chair of the Technology and Innovation Committee. Brenda is also a long-time member of the Pension Management Association of Canada (PIAC), where she has held several board and committee positions. Team members have extensive experience in the planning and delivery of health care services and in various business lines that support the health system. Dan joined Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries in January 2021 and is responsible for the Corporate Responsibility and Integrity Division, which includes: Corporate Responsibility, Office of the Corporate Secretary, Internal Audit, Legal, Policy and Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management.

Patti holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba. She was a member of the Canadian Bar and the Manitoba Bar Association (1988-2020) and Vice-Chair of the Legal Committee of the Canadian Electricity Association (2017-2020). Her involvement in the community has focused on supporting people with developmental or physical problems and children`s health. She also has experience navigating the healthcare system from a patient support perspective. The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority recognizes that it provides health services in facilities located in Treaty One and Treaty Five territories, the countries of origin of the Métis Nation and the homeland of Inuit. The health authority took over the 197-bed Middlechurch Home in 2014. It was previously a registered charity in West St. Paul. His ecotourism business operates from Churchill and Winnipeg with more than 50 employees and sits on the Manitoba, Winnipeg and Churchill Board of Trade. Dr. Scott Mundle is a graduate optician from the University of Waterloo. He received the 50th Anniversary Honorary Award from the University of Waterloo. Scott has served as President of the Manitoba Association of Optometrists, the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the World Council of Optometry. Retired since June 2022, he practised at the Henderson Vision Centre in North Kildonan. Shared Health`s leadership team brings together experts from across the province`s health care system.
